CODE OF ETHICS

Some of our partners and associates are members of the Barra Mexicana de Abogados, Colegio de Abogados, A.C., so we have agreed to submit to its Code of Ethics, which can be found at the following page: www.bma.org.mx

The firm accepts the following commitment of institutional form:

Behave within the legal profession in the principles of devotion, integrity, straightness, responsibility, commitment, freedom and independence, justice, loyalty, professional ethics, honesty, dignity and respect.

We recognize that professional practice must be developed with independence and freedom, outside any improper influence, coming whether from public authorities, third parties or even client.

We acknowledge that any form of corruption impairs the effectiveness and legitimacy of the judicial or arbitral process and as well the administration of Justice.

We accept that the judiciary must be independent, impartial and free from any undue interference or political, economic, social or any other kind of influence.

We will not accept, nor commit corrupt practices, which could directly or indirectly affect the judicial or arbitration process.

We will not allow or will promise undue benefits to staff of courts to change the outcome of the judicial process.

The relationship with our clients is based on mutual trusty, honesty and loyalty.

We respect and exercise professional secrecy with respect to all the facts, confidences, conversations, general information and proposals to our clients or third parties have provided us.
